The Maryland Crab Bowl will enter it's sophomore season Monday at Johnny Unitas Stadium at Towson University at 7pm. The game features the best players in the state from the DC and Baltimore Area's grinding it out for Area Bragging Rights. The inaugural contest was won by DC 32-21.

2008 Player Alumni Report

The Baltimore Team will be led by Billy Cosh (KSU), Josh Furman, Nick Forbes (Cal), Zach Zwiniak (PSU) Adrian Coxson, Ego Ferguson, RJ Harris and more. The Baltimore team will feature some star power, as the state's all-time leading public school passer, Billy Cosh, will get a chance to toss passes to his teammate and state all-time leading reciever RJ Harris, and 4 star Receiver Adrian Coxson. The backfield will be led by Baltimore Sun Player of the year Josh Furman, and the country's #1 in FB Zach Zwiniak. The Defense will be lead by some stars as well. Nick Forbes is the Rivals.com #2 LB in the country, and Ego Ferguson is the #3 ranked DE in the country.

The DC team will feature Marcus Coker (Iowa), Louis Young (Stan), EJ Scott (UVA), Arie Kouandjio, Titus Till (UMD) and Rudy Johnson (BUFF). McDonogh's Rudy Johnson emerged as one of the area's top QB's and he will have the security of a large offensive line led by Arie Kouandjio, and power back Marcus Coker, who rushed for 1607 yards and 20 TDs.

Baltimore looks like the early favorite, but if anyone watches DC area football, you know they play with a lot of pride.
